The room felt filthy and neglected, with stained walls and ceiling, and the bathroom door had no lock. The quilts were stained, torn, and clearly not cleaned properly. When I asked housekeeping for a replacement, they said, “Yours is cleaner; I’ve given someone an even worse quilt.” That was insulting and says a lot about the hygiene standards. There was no liquid soap in the bathroom, and the geyser didn’t work. After many complaints, they finally sent a plumber, as if hot water in winter were some kind of extra. Basic services were missing too. Wi-Fi never worked, the landline was dead so we couldn’t reach reception, and housekeeping didn’t clean the room unless we repeatedly begged. Fresh towels and even complimentary amenities had to be requested over and over. Food service was embarrassing: meals weren’t refilled, staff seemed clueless and untrained, and guests had to wait between meals despite paying in full. The whole stay was exhausting and humiliating, and it ruined the trip. There seemed to be no management, accountability, hygiene, or respect for guests. It feels like the place gets by by misleading people online. I’d never recommend it to anyone. I’d rather cancel a trip than stay here again, even if it were the last hotel on earth. Save your money and sanity, and stay far away.

I joined Royal Moonlight Club on 8th August 2024, but my refund still hasn’t been processed despite several emails and follow-ups. The team keeps making promises that don’t come through and doesn’t respond properly. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend trusting the company. They take your money quickly, then disappear when it’s time to refund it.

They gave us a coupon after pitching a holiday package based on discounts and membership. We didn’t sign up, and they said the coupon was valid anywhere in India. But when we asked to use it in a particular state, they said it could only be used at this resort. So I’m supposed to travel across the country to use a useless coupon? Such a waste of time and a disgusting tactic. Don’t attend any of their functions, even the free voucher isn’t worth the time you lose. And definitely don’t buy the package. I’ve heard negative reviews about that too.

Our driver wasn’t allowed to stay anywhere at Onyx Hotel & Resort, Jim Corbett, even though the resort was vacant, and they wouldn’t give him breakfast either. He had to spend the night in the car in extreme cold. We stayed one night, and the overall hospitality was poor, with discourteous staff and even basic vegetarian food options unavailable. Guests should check the facilities and policies ahead of time.

Mr. Satendra and Mr. Deepak arranged my booking quickly on very short notice, and I appreciated the help. My stay at Regenta Orkos Hotel in Haridwar was comfortable and enjoyable.
