Ivy Towers is a well-kept property with plenty of parking and an elevator. The road up is in good condition, and there’s a sign on the main road pointing the way. It’s about 1 km from the main road. Staff were courteous, the food was fine, and our room was clean with the basic facilities. There’s a kitchen, though no induction cooktop was normally available; they said these had been removed under the latest policies. They did provide one so we could prepare food for the one-year-old girl travelling with us. It was a lovely stay.

This works well for families with a car. There’s room service, a balcony, parking, and a lift, and the surroundings are peaceful. Mukteshwar is about an hour away by car, while Nainital and Bhimtal take around 30 minutes. For a better view, choose a room on the fourth floor. Everything else was good.

The 1BHK flat is a good fit for a family of four. Follow the map to find it, near Ivy Tower, though taxis are the only transport available. The terrace restaurant had a nice atmosphere and good food, and there’s a water purifier.

The service was very poor, and the location wasn’t good either. It was hard to find the way to the highway, and there are no restaurants nearby, so you’re left ordering food from the hotel. Don’t make that mistake: the food was stale and smelled strange. There were bugs and mites on the bed too. This was the worst hotel in Nainital for me.

This place is so remote that it’s hard to find anything nearby to help you, and I had security concerns as well. The food wasn’t even edible. This was the worst homestay I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it or put money into this place. Don’t expect anything from them.
