Getting to the hotel took unnecessary effort, and the room was never cleaned during our three-day stay. They charged a very high price but offered almost no facilities. The geyser didn’t work, the TV was broken, and the lighting was too dim. The bathroom was in very poor condition, with a broken door and a toilet flush that didn’t work. Even when we asked, they wouldn’t provide basic things like toilet paper or towels. Wi-Fi was non-functional, there in name only. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It failed to meet basic expectations and could leave future guests dissatisfied.

The blankets were very dirty, the hotel was not clean, and the manager was careless. Food quality was poor, and the room prices were way too high. The hotel is near a mosque, with small, dirty rooms opposite it. There was also a meat smell from a nearby butcher’s house that reached the hotel. This is a pathetic hotel in Nainital, and it needs improvement.

The bedsheets had blood stains, and they hadn’t changed the pillow covers for the last year. There were so many mosquitoes in the rooms, and locals were warning us about them. When we went down at 12 at night, the employees behaved badly with us. Don’t rent these rooms.

After travelling more than 300 km from Saharanpur, we reached Shah Guest House in Nainital and found that our booking had been cancelled and both rooms given to someone else. I’d booked two deluxe rooms online, with no advance payment required, but nobody notified us or explained what had happened. The manager was rude and offered no help, leaving us stranded. Their booking system is a mess and customer service is nonexistent. Avoid this place if you don’t want your plans ruined.
