The Rangers Reserve - Corbett

The location and views make this a good resort for at least one visit, though it needs maintenance. It doesn't seem to run in profits, and the charges could be lower to offer better value. Workers casually told us ITC was going to take over shortly, which they said would substantially improve maintenance. It's a large, old property of about 40 acres in Jim Corbett reserve near Sitabani and Bhandarpani safari Gate. The scenic setting is peaceful, with big gardens, swings, and chairs to relax in. Staff were hospitable and supportive. Rooms are about 300 metres from the restaurant, so walking in nature is part of staying here. There's free Wi-Fi to make up for mobile networks, plus a cafeteria near the rooms for snacks and meals at odd times. Food quality and taste were good. You can drive to Amgarhi (Amgarhi) village, then take the resort Gypsy for the roughly 3-4 kms through the jungle to the resort. SUVs may go all the way. The route is a bumpy kachcha path with stones, and there is no road. For that reason, I would not recommend it for pregnant women or elderly people. Ramnagar is the nearest city, about a 45 mins drive away, so bring necessary and desired items with you.

We had a fantastic time at Rangers Reserve. It's tucked into nature, with a nice balance of adventure and relaxation. Our spacious, clean rooms had breathtaking jungle views, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. The food was delicious, with a good mix of local and continental options. We especially loved the jungle safari and nature walks. A peaceful escape with family, and a real treat for nature lovers. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came away feeling refreshed. The property is tucked into the forest, so it’s wonderfully quiet, and the people there were warm and polite. A lovely little adventure for anyone needing a break from the usual routine.

We enjoyed dinner outside our room, which gave the meal a nice extra touch. The food itself had plenty of tasty choices. Rangers Reserve, Ramnagar is in a peaceful part of the city, but still close to the main attractions, and the staff welcomed us with smiles and took great care of us throughout our stay with friends.
