The White Oak Corbett Spa & Resort

I spent one night here and found it a calming escape, with lovely landscapes and peaceful green surroundings. The room was comfortable and let me get a good night’s sleep. Friendly, attentive staff added to the stay. I’d recommend the resort if you’re looking to relax in nature.

I feel completely cheated and am extremely upset. I paid a large amount to book this hotel, then was told the property was under maintenance and couldn’t take guests. I got no stay, no service, and no refund. I earn modestly, so this booking was a major expense, and the financial and emotional stress has been immense. This feels fraudulent, unethical, unprofessional, and completely unfair. I demand a full refund immediately.

The property looks beautiful from the outside, but the rooms were in terrible shape and nowhere near worth the price. We booked through ixigo for around ₹7,000 a night for a family stay because there weren’t many family room options. We relied on the listing pictures, which showed only the exterior and no rooms. After staying there, the missing room photos felt misleading, and it’s clear why they weren’t included. The floors were extremely dirty, and our feet turned black when we walked barefoot, so we had to wear slippers the whole time. The walls were chipped in several places, making the room feel neglected. In the top-floor bathroom there was no geyser, so hot water meant using the other bathroom. The shower water also ran into the toilet and washbasin area, leaving no way to step out without crossing dirty water. There were no curtains on the top-floor windows either, so you wake with the sun whether you want to or not. Not much of a relaxing vacation.

The activities kept me busy, from relaxing by the pool to playing ball, and the food was fantastic with plenty of choice. I also loved the serene surroundings, luxurious room, and breathtaking views. Service was exceptional, making this a special escape for both relaxation and adventure. I can’t wait to return.
