Hotel Lasso Regency & Spa Namchi

The service was good and the food quality was great. My room was stinky and not clean when I first got it, though. The other things were okay.

Finding the hotel was difficult, and the room was dirty and very smelly. It had no other amenities, so I had to ask for everything, from towels and soap to a room heater in winter. The food wasn't good and the service was bad. The room rate was expensive for what you get. Breakfast only comes after 9 am, which feels like a way for these hotels to save money on complimentary breakfast, since most tourists go sightseeing and would rather eat on the way than wait around for breakfast.

The rooms were clean, and breakfast was complimentary and nice. But we booked three deluxe rooms through Goibibo and were given standard sized rooms when we arrived. We paid another 1000 bucks for slightly more spacious ones. The restaurant food was very expensive: normal tawa roti cost 30 rupees each, and four boiled eggs we ordered the next morning cost us Rs 320, or Rs. 80 per egg. Check the menu before ordering.

Be careful with your orders here. Because there wasn't enough space, they seated us with other customers and then added those customers' share to our bill. They also inflate drink bills with items you didn't consume. It felt like a scam.
