Fabhotel Prathamesh Pride

It's a good budget hotel for a day or two, and suitable for a family stay. The staff were courteous, helpful and prompt, and the amenities worked as advertised. We had an issue with hot water, but the staff managed it somehow. The food tasted good and was reasonably priced, though you need to tell them in advance if you want dinner. The location is convenient for people coming from Mumbai, just 2 KM from the highway, though it's 10 KM outside the city centre. There are a few tourist spots nearby, but most others are a long way off. Finding the hotel is tricky because there are no signboards. I stayed in a standard room, compact but enough for one person and just enough space for two to move around freely.

This is nowhere near a 3 star hotel, despite Agoda listing it that way. There was at least one person around at all times to deal with problems, and the building, room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was included separately while booking and came from outside. The AC worked, though it dripped some water. The booking email named Nido Residency, but when I called Agoda for directions, they said my booking was for Prathamesh pride. The actual name is Prathamesh Pride (Agoda). Google maps puts Nido Residency on the main road, where there is a yezdi bike showroom, but the actual place is 2.4 km away. It's a bit tucked inside, and lots of dogs roam and fight in the evening and at night, so walking out didn't feel safe. I booked for 2 adults and a kid and paid extra, but they said the booking was only for 2 people. Towels were provided, but no hand or face towels. They gave soap but no shampoo or conditioner, and said they only provide soap when I asked. The toilet paper stand was empty. There's no kitchen, so you can't get tea or something to eat there, though swiggy works. The lift doesn't work, and every room is on the 1st floor or above, so you have to carry your luggage up and down. The drawers were dirty, the balcony had lots of dust and bird droppings, and its door handle was broken. They'd done a jugaad to make the mattress look good, but it was actually a hard 4 inch coir mattress. There was dirt and eaten mixture lying on the mattress under a mattress cover. Parking is limited to 2 cars without blocking, though there's lots of roadside space.

The rooms were kept clean, and breakfast was hygienic. The hotel staff were really helpful and made it easy to explore the city. I think anyone planning to stay here will enjoy the visit. Thanks.

This place felt like a converted three-bedroom flat, not a hotel, and there was no food or breakfast available. The bathroom leaked, the sheets were torn and dirty, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. A complete waste of time and money. Don't book here.
