Hotel Shilpa Nashik

At Shila Dining Hall, the thali had lots of items and tasted okay. The service and presentation were decent. Still, after only 2-3 bites I felt very full, which seemed strange and made me wonder whether they might use baking soda or something similar in the food.

A nice place for a meal with family or friends on a medium budget. The food quality is good, the staff are enthusiastic, and the ambience is nice.

We’re regular customers, so this visit to Shilpa Dining Hall, Nashik was especially disappointing. There were five adults and one child in our group, but we were given a table for four, with no proper seating arrangement or effort to make us comfortable. It was extremely crowded, and the service felt rushed and badly managed. Staff behavior was below par, and coordination was clearly lacking. Dishes were brought and cleared in a hurry, sometimes before we’d finished eating. That made the meal uncomfortable. I hope management takes this seriously and improves service and customer handling. Based on this visit, I can’t recommend it.

We had taken a coupon at the shilpa dining hall and waited a long time before they called our name and seated us. Everyone in our group was at the table except one woman, who was downstairs feeding her baby. We politely asked the staff to wait just 2 minutes because she was on her way. Instead, they made the whole group leave the table and immediately gave it to another customer. When we tried to explain, the staff were rude and didn’t respond properly. There was no patience, respect, or basic customer care. It was a very upsetting experience.
