Effotel by Sayaji Navi Mumbai

Pranav at the front desk was courteous, soft spoken, and well mannered. Rishi in the restaurant also tried, in his own innocent way, to make up for the chef's mistakes. They were the bright spots in a really poor three-day stay. We had discussed things the day before and arrived on time, yet check-in took over an hour, and the room I'd asked for had been given to someone else. Lunch in the restaurant was a letdown, and the food tasted awful. Don't be tempted by the breakfast offer. I'd rather get a fresh wada pav outside than eat the limited buffet options here, which were poorly cooked or stale. When guests asked the chef and staff to try their own food, they started arguing and blaming one another. Requests were often ignored, and nobody followed up unless I came down from the 4th floor to ask at reception. This is a big no for me unless someone is after Oyo type hourly rooms, if you know what I mean.

The hotel handled safety well. We checked the smoking and evacuation arrangements, and they worked nicely. The food was good and there were plenty of items to choose from, while service and housekeeping were also very good. I had a nice stay at Sayaji, though the area felt polluted at night.

Preeti deserves a special mention for the last-minute room decor and arrangements, which really added to the romantic feel. The staff were great throughout and the service was on point. We were blown away by our stay at the brand new Effotel by Sayaji - Taloja MIDC. The room was clean, luxurious, and really comfortable. If you're after a relaxing break from the city, this place is it. Highly recommend.

Our room upgrade made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are roomy, the staff courteous, and everything felt clean and comfortable. The hotel is tucked into the interior part of MIDC, but that also made for quiet, peaceful nights. The hospitality was top notch.
