Hotel Palm Beach Pride

I checked in late and found the toilet wouldn't flush. When I told reception, the guy suggested using a bucket, as if plumbing could wait until the next day. They moved me to another room, but it had the same problems: an old AC, a smelly bathroom, and no ventilation. I checked out as soon as I could the next morning, mentally before I actually left. I won't stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The washroom was tiny and stuffy, and the room and bathroom had no ventilation. The exhaust fan looked like it had stopped working years ago. The curtains stank, the walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the whole place felt neglected. Staying in my car might have been better.

We had very comfortable rooms, and the hotel is convenient for the train station. I only wish we could have stayed more than one night before heading on to other places. Fantastic hotel. Best the palm beach pride 😍 Mcd family

The rest of the staff were polite and courteous, but the General Manager's conduct made this a deeply unpleasant stay. He was rude and unprofessional, and even threatened me. The property itself is a budget hotel that seemed fair value, but his attitude ruined the experience. He had already made an unnecessary personal remark about my friend, calling him a “chain smoker.” On checkout day, I called to ask for someone to inspect my room and explained that I needed a couple of hours to finish urgent office work in my friend's room, since my friend was staying another night. The manager flatly refused, spoke abusively, and threatened me. I'd booked through Agoda at a much lower rate than the hotel's direct price, which seemed to displease them. I had been awake for more than 40 hours and asked for an early check-in, but they said Agoda bookings could only be given rooms after guests checked out. Even though I could see rooms were available, I respected their policy and waited in my friend's room. It's unfortunate that one person's arrogance can damage an otherwise decent property's reputation. I'd advise others to avoid the hotel until this behavior is dealt with.

It's a low-budget hotel, so don't expect standard hotel etiquette. It can be useful if you're catching a flight from Navi Mumbai.
