Megh Residency

The area felt poor and very lonely, and the facilities were very bad. Reception staff behaved very badly too. Breakfast was included in my booking for two people, but they served only one breakfast and charged us for the second. The quantity was limited, and there was no buffet like other hotels provide.

We had a good three-day stay at Hotel megh residency. The rooms were genuinely clean, and the hospitality and service were on point. Highly recommended.

The food was a real highlight. We spent ₹2200 in total, which felt like great value compared with the ₹1200-₹1500 we’d spend on one meal outside. They don’t allow outside food, but their own food was delicious, portions were good, and it fit our budget. We had chic crispy, water, prawns thali, fries, more water, thumbs up, and lime soda for dinner on Day1. For Day2 lunch, we ordered chic pahadi, steam rice, two butter chapati, two lassi, and chic mughlai. Dinner that day was veg thali, fries, Sprite, lime soda, and water. On Day3 we had cold coffee for breakfast. The staff were good, and we stayed two nights, checking in on the 30th and checking out on the 1st, with complimentary breakfast. Our Standard room was decent, but a bit cramped. The bed was big enough for a 6ft guy, though the mattress and cushions weren’t good. There were no windows in the room. I’m not sure whether the Premium Rooms have windows. The location was okay, but could be better if they moved a little farther out while keeping the same service and hospitality. Some people may not like that it’s near an industrial hub, and that’s fair. Nothing else went wrong during our stay. I’d recommend it if you’re okay with having no window and with the food policy, since you can’t rely on Zomato/Swiggy.

The food was good and reasonably priced, and the service was good for the price too. The staff were very nice. I booked a room for two days, and it seemed like a suitable place for families and couples.
