HillRock Resort & Villas, Karjat

We were there for a wedding, and the whole experience went smoothly. The food was out of this world, and the staff were the friendliest I've seen. Quality, prompt service, and the staff's attitude to guests all exceeded expectations. I couldn't find anything wrong and would suggest it for a stay or wedding. One improvement would be a shuttle for train station or airport pickups, or a tie-up with local travel services so guests can arrange rides quickly.

The Glass Villa is a real highlight at Hill Rock Resort. Its glass walls instead of traditional doors give an incredible view of the surroundings. It's a stunning place for a big group. We enjoyed the activities too, the boys played cricket on the turf while my girl and I played a few rounds of badminton. The pure veg and jain meals were delicious, with top-notch service. A relaxing spot for families, large groups, corporate hangouts, or couples. Highly recommended.

I stayed here in May 2026 and found it worthwhile. The pool experience was exceptional, and the food was enjoyable. The rooms were nice, hospitality commendable, and the location good, so it felt like value for money. One thing to improve is the drinking water policy: once the in-room water runs out, more has to be bought from the resort at its prices.

The view of the western hill with the setting sun makes this a particularly beautiful place to spend a leisurely weekend near Mumbai. Hillrock resort is easy to reach, right on the Karjat-Neral road. The large grounds are well maintained, with open, nicely decorated spaces, a curated lawn, multisport arena, attractive pool, children's play area, and game zone. The lakeside cafe serves delicious food, and the staff are courteous. There's ample parking and a range of places to stay, from executive rooms to cottages. Special thanks to Mr Chetan and Ms Jyoti at the front desk for making us feel at home. Fabulous experience.
