Calux Joia Do Mar Resort

The location was close to the beach while still feeling peaceful. Our team found the spacious, clean, well-maintained rooms comfortable, and the staff were accommodating with our group’s needs, making coordination easy. Hospitality was top-notch from arrival through departure. Breakfast was fantastic, too. Special thanks to chef Bhuvan.

The pool bar was the highlight, though the area around it could be cleaner. Rooms are very spacious and the staff polite and helpful. The pool bar is amazing, and breakfast was really good, with decent variety and great taste. Since it’s near Calangute, the hotel feels buzzy rather than quiet. A lot of towers have been built within the property, leaving very little open space. The room size and service help make up for that.

Staff and management were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, and even let us check out at 2:30 PM instead of the usual 11:00 AM. That thoughtful gesture made a real difference. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the poolside bar was a lovely place to start the day with a sip and dip. Rooms were decent, about 4/5. We were told to mention any issue with the view or anything else, and they’d move us to the best available room in our category. The property is close to Bagha and Calangute beaches, and only 600 meters from Fatfish. Great value for money in the neighborhood, and I’d stay again without hesitation.

The location and property are very nice, and service was good. The staff were supportive, and the breakfast and food tasted great. I’d suggest adding a sign at the veg and non-veg sections so people can tell which is which. When I entered the room, there was a damp smell from the wall, which should be cleaned up a bit. Customers should get a wow feeling when they first see it.
