Celso's Home Stay

Noel was polite and helpful, and their pet was playful and well behaved. I had a great two-day stay at Celso's. The room was neat, and the location was accessible, with shops and a small market close by. I'd happily stay here again.

Everything is within walking distance in Santa Cruz, and the room was neat and clean. We stayed at Celso's home stay for two days and found it peaceful, with good service. There's also a small kitchen with all the equipment you need if you want to cook. A place worth staying at.

I stayed at Celso's for three weeks in March 25, and it was the best homestay I've experienced anywhere in India. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and cooking several meals was easy. It's spotless and well maintained. Noel brought a lovely breakfast each morning at exactly 8.30. The location worked perfectly for my work around Panjim and further out at Sangolda, as well as trips to other nearby places. Panjim is a short distance away. Noel also gave me reliable rickshaw and taxi contacts, which I used a lot. There's an efficient AC electric bus a few minutes from the homestay if needed, and Bambolim and Miramar beaches are a short trip away. There are plenty of shops, a pharmacy, ATMs, and a market nearby, plus fresh fish for sale in the evenings. I found excellent meals at Burgers and More, where the AC restaurant is very clean and professional and the burgers were the best I've tasted. Local fast food with local meals is also close by. The laundry service was excellent and very reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in every respect and have no hesitation giving Celso's the highest rating.

For anyone wanting a place in PANJIM, this is the one I'd point them to. I stayed two days last week and really loved it. The owner was kind and let us check in early because we arrived in Goa in the morning. The room, bathroom, kitchen, and balcony were all neat and clean, and the wifi, TV, and AC worked perfectly.
