We came as six members and our holiday started with two hours of running back and forth across the hotel. The team was inefficient and highly unresponsive, and different departments seemed unaware of what the others were dealing with. Half the staff were trainees who didn’t know the process. We had booked a garden-facing room but were given one facing a wall, which they still called garden-facing. The ACs in the corridors weren’t working either. We’re direct customers, members, so I can only imagine how regular guests are treated.

We spent six days here on a family holiday with our seven-month-old baby. We’d asked for a quiet room with a good view, and they arranged one promptly. The rooms, food, and hospitality were all lovely. Mr Vijay, the long-stay guest relations manager, along with Shashank, Shalini, Shailesh, Ashish, and Elonbeni at The Dining Room took great care of us and made the trip memorable. One downside is that frequent weddings sometimes limit access to hotel amenities and disturb guests looking for a quiet break. Still, we had a lovely stay.

The meals and service at the restaurants were a real highlight. Every meal was delicious, nicely presented, and memorable, and each restaurant had its own feel. The whole property balances luxury with comfort, from the spacious, well-kept rooms to the warm, thoughtful welcome when we arrived. We had a relaxing getaway and left with wonderful memories. We’d love to come back to Grand Hyatt Goa.

We had a lovely visit to The Verandah at Grand Hyatt Goa earlier this evening. The place felt warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was just right, and the food was delightful. Anamika looked after our table so well, with friendly, attentive service that really made the experience. A beautiful evening we’ll remember, and I’d happily recommend it.

I called reception three times to ask for help with my luggage at checkout, but nobody came. After waiting a while, I ended up carrying everything myself. I expect the same level of attention at checkout as at check-in, especially from a luxury hotel. This was a disappointing end to my stay at Grand Hyatt Goa.
