The Four Leaf Clover

We enjoyed staying here. It's a traditional Goan house renovated for accommodation, surrounded by greenery, and staying there feels like living in a proper Goan home. The caretakers are sweet and always ready to help. Out back, there's a pool that's about 4 ft deep throughout, and the Wi-Fi ranges from average to high speed. It's not a hotel with a restaurant, so don't expect hotel-style service. There's a menu of nearby restaurants, and food and drinks can be delivered to your room. Breakfast isn't free: tell the caretaker what you'd like, then pay for it. For transport, ask the caretaker to connect you with someone, but handle arrangements directly with that person, since the caretaker and transport provider are separate. The caretakers are happy to help with problems, so be polite with them.

The pool is lovely and very well maintained, and the calm surroundings make the villa especially appealing. It's a private property with nine rooms and nine restrooms, spacious rooms with AC and attached washrooms, and a few rooms also have their own kitchen. The staff are good and can cook meals on request. It's around an hour to an hour and a half from Goa international airport, and about a 25-minute drive from Calungute or Baga beaches. The main drawbacks during our stay were Wi-Fi that only worked in the front reception room and hot water that wasn't available in every room. I'd definitely visit again.

The warm welcome and excellent amenities made our three-day stay at Four Leaf Clover Villa memorable. I'm very grateful for the thoughtful service, and I hope to return in the future.

A lovely place for a restful weekend, with the pool and poolside area to enjoy. It felt like a home away from home, with free Wi-Fi, parking on the premises, a quiet setting, and kitchen facilities available if needed. Try it and you'll see what I mean.
