Hotel Palace Heights

Breakfast was the biggest letdown. It was very basic, with hardly anything to choose from, so after trying it on the first morning I skipped it the next day. There was also loud noise in my room on night two, which the hotel said was an air conditioning issue. The AC itself had worked perfectly up to then. Wi-Fi was very slow, too. I was in Delhi for two nights in February 2026 as part of a 14-day regional tour booked through an Indian tour operator. The hotel is right in central New Delhi, and the room was unexpectedly clean, comfortable, and reasonably equipped. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel entrance has a small, old lift up to reception on the second floor. I don't like lifts, so I used the stairs instead. Some guests mention beggars outside, but that's common in a large Indian city and isn't the hotel's fault. The room was cleaned well throughout. With the breakfast, slow internet, and noise, I'd pick a more upscale hotel if I returned to Delhi.

Connaught Place puts this little, cozy hotel in a really handy spot. Step outside and you can explore many of Delhi's main attractions. The rooms are small, but two people can stay comfortably, and the staff are polite with good service. There's an old restaurant on the property, Zafaran, where the Indian food is delicious. Breakfast doesn't offer much choice, though everything served was tasty and enough to set us up for the day. A great option for a short visit when you want a central location 🙂

I spent five days here and found it good value for the price. The rooms were clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful. If you're taking the NCLEX at Pearson VUE, the hotel is very close to the testing center, which makes it an ideal place to stay. Dinner at the attached restaurant was excellent, so I definitely recommend eating there. Breakfast was just okay. The hallways were quite dim, and better lighting would help.

The restaurant served really tasty food, and the hotel had a lovely ambience with cozy rooms. I was there for a US visa appointment, and the center was only about four minutes away.
