The service teams followed my requests for room service and cleaning schedules throughout my two-week stay, and the staff were great. I travel often and have stayed in many places, but this experience has raised my expectations. I’d definitely recommend Samrat anytime.

For a business trip, this was a good-value hotel in a really great location. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It isn’t a luxury stay, though, and some facilities, like the bathtub, have become damaged over time. The hotel should consider renovating them soon.
The location is really prime, and the property looks grand and fancy. But the rooms are a different story. Maybe there are different room categories, but even the basic rooms should be better for the price at a place this elite. The switches and key cards didn’t work, and the washroom taps, walls, and doors were in such bad shape that I felt scared at one point. Breakfast was average. It seems like the whole hotel needs maintenance to justify what it charges.
Very poor experience, it didn’t meet my expectations. The room felt old and wasn’t maintained, and there was no smart TV access to YouTube, Netflix, Prime, or anything else. Outside food isn’t allowed, and they couldn’t even provide cutlery, so I ended up eating in my car in the parking lot. There were also so many electricity problems that I couldn’t speak. The complimentary fruit basket wasn’t consumable, the fruit wasn’t fresh.
Breakfast was the one bright spot, even with limited choices, what was available tasted quite good. The rest was the most disappointing five-star hotel experience I’ve had. Our room felt like the worst one they could have given us: very dated, badly maintained, with a broken cupboard and similarly poor furniture. The extra bed creaked loudly whenever anyone sat down, got up, or even turned over in their sleep. The woman at reception was rude and inflexible, though the male reception staff were much more polite, helpful, and accommodating. For the price, it isn’t worth it if you expect a real five-star stay. There are plenty of better options around Connaught Place for less.
