Alipura Palace

The personal welcome from the Royal Family made Alipura Palace Hotel feel like a home, with Rao Bahadur Raja Saheb Manvendra Singh ji, Rani Saheb Brijraj Kumari, Yuvraj Saheb Kamakhya Pratap Singh, and Yuvrani Saheb Mriganka Kumari looking after guests themselves. Man Singh was also always ready to help with a smile. The palace offers private parking, and the whole stay gave us a chance to feel part of Bundelkhand’s heritage and culture. I’d highly recommend it for a memorable visit to Alipura. There’s real history and charm in the grand building, from its regal architecture and carved interiors to the timeless feel. Our room had air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom, so it kept modern comforts alongside the old-world elegance. Meals were served with care in the stately dining room, and the fresh, flavorful Bundelkhandi traditional dishes were a real treat. Alipura Palace Hotel brings together heritage, warmth, and hospitality in a way that made our stay unforgettable.

The room was really spacious and had good amenities, and the hotel staff were friendly and happy to accommodate all our requests. We also ate well at the hotel. The surrounding town was lovely, with very friendly locals, and the heritage property itself was amazing. We had an excellent stay.

A quiet terrace at night and a friendly village made this such a nice break from the usual tourist spots. Everything felt simple but excellent, from the rooms and food to the hospitality. The staff were especially warm and attentive, and every member of Alipura Palace made us feel special.

The staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is amazing, with an elegance that’s hard to put into words, even though restoration is still underway. I hope the palace keeps thriving in the years ahead.
