During my stay on 18-19 April 2025, maintenance work was going on and there was loud noise, so we couldn’t sleep properly. The rooms, pillows, bed sheets, and toilet hadn’t been cleaned, and a pipe in the toilet leaked. There was no WiFi, just a small TV with no connection. The car park was very cramped, there was no receptionist, and the number shown on the web and app was only a voice message, with no direct contact number for directions. The location and navigation were also very bad. This is an old homestay, not a three star hotel, and zero rating from me. It wasn’t worth even Rs1500 a night. Service was pathetic. All its good Google/MakeMyTrip reviews are from the staff, don’t ever book here. A terrible property.

I booked it as a stopover on my way to Coonoor, and it was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. There wasn’t anyone at reception, just a 12-13 year old boy who didn’t understand what we were saying. Apparently anyone can check in under your name, since they don’t ask for IDs. The room was awful, with dirty bed linen and sheets that looked like they hadn’t been changed for days. No hot water either. I’d give zero if I could.

The location was pathetic, and the rooms were like dharamshala, nothing like what was shown on the site. They wouldn’t return our money. FAB HOTELS are biggest SCAMMERS! There are much better options, with economical hotels and good views. The whole experience was a big disappointment.

We booked the hotel two months ahead and still had a lot of unnecessary hassle from paying the advance until check-out. The manager was never there and there was no receptionist, just one caretaker who had no idea how to handle things. The rooms were below average. A very bad, pathetic experience at fab express wenlock homes.

The peaceful setting was the main plus, with a serene, quiet atmosphere that made for a good night’s sleep. It’s an old building, but seemed well maintained. Still, what we found didn’t match the newer-looking photos on Agoda. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, the bathroom facilities were below par, and the breakfast was below average. Staff didn’t seem professional, either. I booked through Agoda, but the stay wasn’t worth the price. I can’t recommend it.
