It was a comfortable stay in Ooty for our family and felt like good value. The hotel is close to Government Botanical Garden, so getting there was easy. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were polite, helpful, and impressively quick. Hot water ran from 7-11 AM and 7-11 PM, which was enough for us. The TV, water filter, and other room facilities all worked properly and were well maintained. They also had cutlery available and allowed online food delivery, which was handy for family travel.

The peaceful atmosphere and balcony view were lovely. Our room was spacious, tidy, and nicely arranged, with a very comfortable bed and fresh, clean linens. The bathroom was spotless and had all the toiletries we needed. Room service came quickly, and the staff made sure everything was just right. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

We were there for two nights, and being within walking distance of the city centre was great. The place was clean, and we appreciated having a water dispenser. The sheets were a little worn, but at least they were clean. The room's musty smell was the main problem. There are carpets, toilet mats, and curtains throughout, and with the windows shut the smell built up after a while. It was too cold to leave the windows open at night, so we had to put up with it. I'm not sure if this is just how the climate in Ooty is. The decor could use an update too. It feels gaudy.

We found the location very convenient, with shops and restaurants within walking distance and the railway station and bus stand only 1-2 km away. The staff were polite, cooperative, and ready to help. Astoria Residency had the essentials, plus considerate extras like handwash, tissues, and water dispensers, which I don't often see in hotels. A comfortable, convenient stay, and highly recommended.

We found plenty of food options nearby, and the main attractions were close enough to walk to. The rooms at Astoria Residency, Ooty were spacious, clean, and well kept, with a TV, water dispenser, and kettle. There was good parking, and the property felt safe. Hot water was available at set times. A comfortable and convenient stay.
