The rooms are roomy and kept in good shape, and there’s plenty of cookware and utensils to use. The place looks just like the photos and sits right on the main road, so it’s easy to reach. There’s no kitchen service on site, but you can order through Zomato or Swiggy. The reception staff were really helpful too. Worth the money, and a good option if you’re coming to Ooty.

Sudeep at reception, who is from Karnataka, was a nice person and had a good way of interacting with guests. The property is clean and hygienic, with an old vintage feel, and seems like a good stay for couples. I booked through MakeMyTrip for a two-day trip and could get a 7.0% discount, up to ₹1400. Thanks to the MakeMyTrip team and the West Berry Vintage team.

Getting here from the main road was easy, and we had a lovely three-night stay. The room facilities were very nice.

Shiva and his family made us feel like part of their own family and looked after our comfort the whole time. Manager Ramesh was also patient with all our questions and made everything run smoothly. This vintage homestay has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that suited our family getaway well. The five rooms were well kept: three were spacious, one was especially large for a group, and the remaining one was smaller but cozy. We could request freshly made homemade meals, which were wholesome and just right for the children. It was a peaceful family retreat with good food and kind hosts. We’d happily return.
