We especially enjoyed the garden bonfire at 7:30 pm on both evenings, and the breakfast had a nice spread, including spring rolls, chana bhatura, idly, vada, and dosa. Our two-day stay at Western Valley Resort was comfortable and memorable, and we’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Ooty and come back ourselves. The resort sits among well-kept tea plantations and greenery. The views along the way were even more breathtaking to us than those on our train journey to Coonoor. We had booked two first-floor double rooms with balconies. They were spacious, clean, and had lovely views. Since my husband has trouble with stairs, we asked for a ground-floor room, and the staff arranged it kindly and promptly. Everyone was courteous. Adarsh, Bharath, and Chef Mukesh in the restaurant took excellent care of us and made dinner to our preference. At our request, he prepared ghee dosa with poody masala. They were also warm and playful with our three-year-old grandchild, and thoughtfully gave the baby complimentary khichdi and curd rice.

The room views were breathtaking, and looking out over the seemingly endless green tea plantations was one of the best parts of the stay. Western Valley Resorts in Ooty has a wonderfully peaceful setting. Staff were polite and attentive throughout, with Mr. Aadarsh especially prompt and helpful. The food was decent.

The location is excellent for a family holiday, and service was good. Rooms are spacious, clean, and nice, but they felt stuffy with no ventilation. There are windows at the back, though they lack a net to keep insects or cats out. A fan or AC would help. The food could also be better.

The children had a great time with the sports and games facilities, and staying in the attic room was fun. We had a peaceful, enjoyable family visit to Western Valley. The grounds were immaculate, with lovely flowers and excellent upkeep, and the food was great. Thanks to Mani for making us comfortable.

This was my second visit to Western Valley resort, after first coming in November/25. Last time we stayed in the family room; this time we chose a Wooden Villa, built less than a year ago. It has a duplex layout, with two spacious rooms and large beds that fit two adults comfortably. The place is a little outside town, but ideal for nature lovers, surrounded by tea plantations and lush greenery. The balcony and room views were mesmerizing and matched the pictures exactly. Everything was neat and well maintained, including the garden with its many plants and flowers. My kids spent most of their time cycling and playing on the property. Breakfast was nice, and room service was prompt whenever we needed anything. Manoj took us to the sightseeing spots we wanted to visit and was supportive of our plans. He was polite and well behaved, and I really appreciated his professionalism. It was a wonderful, memorable stay for my whole family, and I hope to return again and again.
