OYO 78744 Limra Residency

The bed was good, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, but the room was cramped and not worth what we paid. The cupboard was so small that it ended as soon as you opened it. There was noise outside, and following Google Maps to find the place gave us a horrible experience. Nothing special about the room, so I'd only use it to freshen up.

Please read this before booking. I reserved through MakeMyTrip for 1st -3rd may and checked with the owner or caretaker beforehand to confirm. Still, they denied check-in. The caretaker was arrogant, shouted at me, and said, "What am I supposed to do if you booked online? Go on, find another room." I guess he gave the rooms to people paying higher rates, since Ooty was so crowded. I was with my family and ended up stranded on the street, looking for somewhere else to stay. If you're travelling with family, please avoid this place and the hassle.

The place may look gorgeous in the photos, but the management was awful and it was a complete waste of money. I booked through AGODA and was told there'd be wifi and breakfast, but neither was provided. I reported it to #AGODA and #OYO, and nobody resolved the problem. There was no cleaning, the room was very cramped, and no sunlight came in. They didn't even change the bed cover or provide drinking water. One staff member was very rude. Another was genuinely humble and good, and we stayed because of him. Thanks to that staff member, though it felt like luck.

They wouldn't let us check in because we'd paid through Agoda, saying they don't allow online bookings. When we got there, they asked for extra money to let us stay. Check your check-in details with the hotel and online service before visiting. I contacted Agoda, and they told me to look for another property. I waited around 2 hours without hearing back. A cab service guy showed us some rooms with the best services in OOTY. Limra Residency didn't even respond to our messages. Please don't go to Limar Residency.
