We went as a group and had a terrible experience. The place was extremely unhygienic, and the staff and management were rude and seemed not to care about customer satisfaction. One colleague was bitten by a rat while asleep. We also found a small rat inside our bag in front of the staff, who treated it as if it were nothing. They said it was the first incident and insisted there were no rats, but other reviews suggest this may have happened before. When we asked them to take the injured person to a good hospital, they refused to help with our request. Their response felt careless and irresponsible. The place seemed unsafe, unhygienic, and badly managed. I strongly don’t recommend visiting.
2/10
The exterior may look appealing, but inside the place felt awful. After checking out, I rushed back to my room and saw housekeeping NOT changing the bedsheets. They were just arranging the same dirty sheets for the next guest. That was disgusting and completely unacceptable. The hygiene standards and maintenance were terrible, and the place didn’t feel professional or safe. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially with family.
4/10
The place has a good location and feels positive in the morning, though walking outside in the evening can feel a little scary. The room was spacious, but dusty and smelly, and the floor was very sticky. Service was very bad, and they didn’t provide any basic things when we checked in. It was a mix of good and bad.

At AJ Heritage Resort, Ooty (VOYE Homes), the most serious thing was a rat biting someone during sleeping hours. It was shocking and felt unsafe. Even after we told the resort staff, they gave us no proper care, concern, or support.
2/10
The location is lovely, but we had a very bad stay because the service and management were extremely poor. There seems to be a serious rat problem, with rat bites described as common, and no proper safety measures in place. The premises were badly maintained and even basic facilities weren’t provided. It was highly disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
