The breakfast came with the room, and we could choose what we wanted. It was tasty, and nearby bakeries and restaurants made it easy to find snacks and meals too. My wife, child and I stayed at Rehmans Homestays for three days and two nights. The setting is pleasant and surrounded by nature, and we had a relaxing visit. The rooms and service were exceptional. It was our best experience, and I'd recommend it if you're planning to visit ooty.
We stayed at rehmans homestay from 26th Jan to 28th Jan 2024. It's a simple, budget-friendly place with small rooms, attached bathrooms and TVs. Breakfast was idly, and both the food and service were good. It's near the entrance to Ooty, with pine forest, pykara waterfalls and boat house nearby. Having your own vehicle would be useful. Thanks to shafi and fasal for the good service.
We'd already paid for room 4 through GOIBEBO and had an invoice, but when we arrived the owner refused to honor it. Since we were past check-in time, he'd given the room to someone else. The place is on the main road, the location isn't great, and there's no parking or food service. They also wouldn't let us buy food from outside. Luckily, GOIBEBO refunded us. I wouldn't recommend it.
Amazing views from a superb location.
It's a good place with everything in one spot, though a bit far from the city centre. You can catch a local bus from here.
