The location was great, with the town, railway station, bus stand, and hospitals all very close by. Parking was also comparatively good. The rooms were nice and had a cute balcony, although some lights and electrical fixtures didn’t work.

It’s budget friendly, and if you’re coming as a gang, I’d recommend it. At night, though, several boys were making noise and we couldn’t sleep. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family or couple.

Deva at reception was really friendly and helpful, and guided us well during our trip. He made things easy and enjoyable. We had a very nice stay at Venus Holiday Home, Ooty, with clean, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend!

Rooms are good 💯, and it’s just a walk from the bus stand. If you’re staying several days, book all the nights ahead of time. Otherwise the price can go up, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

The broken window wouldn’t close properly, so outside noise and drafts came in and it felt like a security risk. There were cockroaches on the bathroom floor and walls, and the cupboard smelled musty with visible fungus inside, so I couldn’t use it. Between the pests, mold, and window, the room felt unhygienic and I spent the night uneasy and barely rested. From the moment I got into the room, it was clear cleanliness and basic upkeep weren’t priorities. My stay at Venus Holiday Home was dreadful. The place badly needs a thorough clean, pest control, and major repairs. I strongly advise people to book elsewhere. I was deeply disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again. I hope this warns others.
