The Hosteller Ooty

The team made us feel at home, especially Mr. Kartik, Mr. Ashokumar, Mr. Sharathkumar, Mr. Shakti, and manager Mr. Sriram, who were all welcoming and helpful. I loved the nighttime fireplace, and having one in our own room made the stay feel extra special. The Hosteller Ooty is a charming British-era building, with tidy, comfortable rooms and a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by beautiful scenery. A lovely place to unwind, and one I’d happily visit again.

The caretaker’s kindness and attention made a real difference. They looked after everything and treated us so warmly that we felt like family. The Hosteller Ooty has a cozy fireplace, wooden interiors, and vintage architecture that give the old British-style property a lot of character. Spending the evenings by the fire was especially relaxing after a long day. A comfortable, welcoming stay, and I’d gladly return.

The bonfire at night made an already lovely stay even better. The property felt safe and comfortable, and we didn’t have to worry about our belongings. It was clean, the price was reasonable, and the view outside was beautiful and peaceful. A great place in Ooty to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Shakti was a fantastic host and made sure our requests were taken care of smoothly. Another house-help staff member, whose name I can’t remember, also deserves credit. He didn’t speak Hindi, but still made a sincere effort to understand us and help however he could. The Hosteller Ooty was comfortable, well maintained, and very affordable without losing quality. We had a wonderful experience and I’d recommend it.
