The Greenery Ooty Holiday Inn

The staff's rudeness overshadowed anything good the property might have had. I left feeling stressed and uncomfortable, the opposite of how a hotel stay should feel. I wouldn't recommend this place unless its staff attitude and training improve a lot. Right from check-in there was no basic courtesy. I felt like an inconvenience, met with dismissive looks and an uninterested tone. The front desk were especially unpleasant. They answered ordinary questions about the room and amenities with irritation, and didn't try to help. When I politely asked for help with a room issue, they took their time and spoke down to me. When I tried to raise my concerns, staff got defensive instead of trying to sort anything out. No apology, no effort to understand what had happened, and no attempt to make it right. It seemed that guest satisfaction was a very low priority. Hospitality should make guests feel welcome and valued, and this hotel failed at that completely. There are plenty of other hotels where guests are treated with basic respect and professionalism.
