The online photos gave a misleading impression. In person, the rooms were much smaller and poorly maintained. The room itself smelled bad, the bathroom was dirty, and the stained bedsheets made the whole place feel like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. A completely unhygienic stay, and I was very disappointed by what felt like false advertising.

The price for a vehicle from the hotel owner was double, so I wouldn’t ask him for one. There was no bonfire, either. The building isn’t well decorated, and the room photos on Google are old. Inside, the rooms are also old and not properly maintained. Breakfast was another issue: they offer poha, maggie, and bread, but charge much more than market price. Overall, it’s good, but these problems stood out.

For two nights, the service from the hotel staff was amazing. They were happy to answer questions, give directions, and arrange activities in and around Pachmarhi. The room hadn’t been cleaned when I checked in, but the staff noticed and told me before I did. They quickly cleaned it while I handled the reception formalities. Given how well they looked after me, the stay was spot on. Greetings from Norway!

What really stood out was how honest and humble the property owner was. Those qualities are hard to find nowadays. The rooms are a good size, the food is amazing, and both the hospitality and room service came close to perfect. One of the best value-for-money hotels in Pachmadhi.
