Dudhwa Palm Resort

The outside view and location are really nice, and the resort feels peaceful. Inside, though, the rooms weren’t up to expectations: the locks didn’t work properly, which needs fixing for safety and comfort. Food was average, and the taste could be better. An okay stay, but management should pay more attention to room upkeep and meals.

My 3 yr old son loved the ample green grass, and everything we ate tasted great. We stayed three nights, and the staff did what they could to meet our requests. Avinash, Sunit and Sanat were especially helpful, supportive and positive whenever we needed something. There were two other staff members I liked a lot too, but I don’t know their names. It’s just 10 minutes from Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. They also listened to us while a corporate event was going on, which hasn’t been the case at other places when we booked just one room. I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I found it a good place to stay in Dudhwa. It may be a little expensive, and service can seem slow, but they took my feedback in person seriously and I didn’t find those kinds of negatives. The downsides were the room furniture and other guests making loud noise at night on busy days. A few guests also seemed to lack civic sense.

The rooms are good, though a bit pricey. Staff are the real issue: they don’t answer calls or reply on time, and they’ll confirm a booking only to deny it later. The management is very poor and the staff are chaotic and unprofessional. You can’t be sure your booking is actually confirmed. Later they just say, “ab to nahi hai hamare paas.”

The food was tasteless and below standard, and eating it felt like risking my health. Rooms and restrooms were filthy, with snakes and insects around that made the place frightening. Outside, vehicles and horns kept making noise all night, so sleeping was impossible. The staff seemed indifferent, and the reception didn’t respond. Charging such high rates is completely unfair.👎😔
