Wave Beach Hotel

There's a restaurant downstairs for breakfast and other meals, and the staff are few but helpful and trustworthy. The hotel is affordable, though quite small and compact. Keep in mind there’s no lift, so you’ll have to carry your luggage upstairs or ask a staff member to help. Dona Paula Beach, Goa Science Centre, and Miramar Beach are the nearest places to visit.

There's a pure vegan restaurant attached, which makes this a good choice for vegetarians. The hotel also has all the services available, and public transport, bike hire, Dona Paula Jetty, sightseeing, and several beaches are within walking distance. It's a great hotel for the price, including for A/C rooms.

The rooms and bathrooms are basic, though they do have a TV and A/C, and the place was a bit clean. Staff were okay, and parking is available along the street. I'd avoid staying here unless there really isn't another option. Pay in cash if you can, since they may try to charge extra, and check every charge before paying. They seem ready to overcharge whenever they get the chance.

The rooms were so tiny that a double room barely left enough space to get in and out of bed. They did have A/C and a TV. I didn't eat there because the kitchen was out back and I didn't trust the hygiene. Don't be fooled by the name, there's less chance of seeing a wave from a window here than in the desert.
