Redwood Resorts

The hilly setting is the big draw at Redwood Resort, and it works well for a quiet break or an event. It’s at the foothills, so you can get to Morni Hills attractions without taking deep mountain roads. From Chandigarh, the drive is about 30-45 minutes, and parking is free. The resort is on Panchkula-Morni Road near Nada Sahib Gurudwara. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, often with lovely hill views. Amenities are modern and room service is prompt, although rain has brought occasional leaks. Staff are often professional, hospitable, and accommodating, including for weddings, though front desk experiences can vary. Food gets mixed reactions. Event catering and the multi-cuisine options are often praised, but on regular days some people find the food average or insipid. The Deck has panoramic views. The secluded but accessible setting feels safe, though network reception can be poor in the hills. It’s especially suited to weddings and a relaxing getaway close to nature, rather than urban luxury. Reviews on platforms like Justdial are solid, around 4/5.
