The room was filthy and the toilet smelled awful. When I asked to change rooms, the person sprayed air freshener instead. I couldn't sleep because of the smell. Eventually I learned someone had used the toilet near the bathroom door, and I washed it with the jug water they gave me to drink. This hotel can't handle even basic needs. Worst nightmare of my life. Rubbish.

The location made it easy to get to nearby attractions and public transportation, and I'd gladly return to Hotel Parag next time. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. My room was modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with housekeeping doing a great job keeping everything clean and tidy.

The stay went smoothly, with cooperative staff, and they gave us a discount because we booked a journey from Dharamshala to Amritsar through Om Sai Travels. The hotel is pretty good apart from its stairs, which are a bit steep, and the lack of a lift. That's why I took off one star.

Everything was ready in the room before check-in, including water and towels, and staff were friendly and happy to provide anything else when asked. The rooms are affordable and comfortable, with good room service, and there's free Wi-Fi with an easy-to-get password. They do turn it off after 11 or 12 at night. Eateries, the bus stand, and even the railway station are very close. I first visited Pathankot and stayed here, and I'd say it's a great affordable option if you're looking for a place to stay.

The staff were polite and accommodating, and the location is good. The rooms are adequate for a one-night stay and fit the price range, but they feel a bit suffocating because there's no natural ventilation. I wouldn't recommend it for a family.
