Oyo 22886 Virasat

The hotel staff asked me for Rs. 999 instead of the Rs. 784 shown in the OYO app. He said they had an arrangement with OYO requiring every customer to pay at least Rs. 999. After I argued, he spoke to someone who strictly told him to take Rs. 784 in cash rather than accept online payment. I’m really dissatisfied with how hotels tied up with OYO are behaving these days. The bathroom was extremely dirty, water ran very slowly from all the taps, the intercom was dead, and the AC wasn’t cooling properly.

The owner told me Virasat 2 had been closed for 15-20 days, even though I’d booked online through agoda and it was still listed on trivago and oyo. I contacted agoda customer care, and they called the property straight away. As soon as the staff heard what was going on, they started dropping the calls. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a business that’s supposed to deal with customers. I don’t even know what to say about the owner.

The food was so bad I felt it could make you sick, and the service was poor too. On top of that, they charged me 1500/- extra for the same room I’d booked through OYO. I’d avoid this VIRASAT hotel.

I can’t believe how rude and ill-mannered the owner was. This property should have been blacklisted after all the complaints, but it seems OYO has been taking them for granted.
