We were lucky that the weather cleared on the right morning, letting us see Kanchenjunga straight from our balcony. It was a truly special, up-close view, and one we won't forget. The weather hadn't been clear for a few days before or after our visit, so we were fortunate with the timing. The hotel made our North East trip memorable and feels underrated. Another bonus is the location, right beside the Pelling ropeway, which takes you to the Skywalk that opens at 9 AM. The staff were very polite, and the food was decent, but nothing compared with the glory of Kanchenjunga.

The staff and hospitality made our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the food served at the hotel was quite good. Most rooms don't have a proper Kanchenjunga view from the balcony, which could disappoint you if that's the main reason you're booking. You do still get a mountain-view experience. It's a good property for a comfortable stay, with decent food and spacious rooms.

The location was amazing, with the Upper Pelling Ropeway centre nearby. We stayed at Retreat Crassula Ovata for 3 nights in room 203, and the hospitality was excellent. The food was finger-licking good, and breakfast and dinner were complimentary. We were lucky to see a marvellous view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from our cosy balcony, even in the last week of May, on 25th May. Others should definitely visit this amazing place.

The restaurant served a really good breakfast and lunch, and the amenities were good too. Our room was cozy, warm, and comfortable, with a lovely feel to the hotel and a wonderful lobby. It’s right beside the Ropeway station, with great views of kanchenjunga and pelling skywalk. Great value for money.

The staff made sure we were comfortable and went out of their way to help. Sitting down to a gourmet dinner with the mountains in view was a treat, and the food and scenery make this place a great choice. The cool, crisp air was a lovely change from the heat back home. A flawless stay.
