Esperan Heritage

I spent 3 nights in this beautiful Tamil heritage property. It was clean, comfortable and homely, and an easy walk from White Town and the main beach. The South Indian breakfast was a highlight, with hot idlis and dosas served straight from the kitchen. The reception team were gracious and kind, and took the time to tell us about Pondicherry’s history. They had even prepared an extra bed before we arrived. When we left, the car was spotless and had water stocked in it. The staff thought of the little things and took care of every need. I’d recommend this for a no-fuss, homely stay with a rich cultural feel.

A thoughtfully designed heritage space with modern conveniences, close to Pondy’s hotspots. Walking into the rooms feels like stepping back in time. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it 👌

Leandar was a lovely, helpful host and told us about places to visit and dishes to try. The location in whitetown, close to rock beach, made it easy to stroll around town. The rooms have a classy historical look, with elegant architecture. Yellow oxide floors, burma teak furnishings and traditional bathroom stones brought to mind the rich aesthetics of a karaikudi mansion. I felt every penny was well spent and would definitely return. If you’re after a real cultural experience, I highly recommend it.

Esparan Heritage is wonderfully authentic and just a 10-minute walk from the sea. The food was fantastic, the rooms were clean, and the staff were very helpful. I had a great time there.
