Hotel Tamizh Grand

They let us check in early when we arrived at 11:30 am, and the hotel has good parking for about 15-16 cars. The buffet breakfast had a tasty spread. Staff and housekeeping were good, and we had a great stay.

The location made it easy to explore, and my partner and I had a fantastic holiday at Hotel Tamizh Grand. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the service was outstanding.

The food and its service were excellent and well worth the price, and I appreciate that. But the room arrangement for our engagement was disappointing. We booked the hall well ahead, around August 2025, and were first told only the bride would get a room, while the groom would need to rent one separately. When we paid for the food in February 2026, management said its policy had changed and promised separate rooms for both of us, plus a storage or utility room. On the event day, the bride got a room as promised, but I was directed to the utility room instead of a guest room. It was about 6 × 8 feet, had no AC or ceiling fan, and only a small wall-mounted fan. The issue wasn't the cost. I could have booked a room for ₹10000, and after being told to use the storage room, I did book a separate room in the same hotel. The commitment to provide separate rooms for both the bride and groom simply wasn't met. Some staff were also not very courteous. Please communicate commitments clearly and honor them, since they affect the whole experience.

The swimming pool was the best part, and parking was good. Our spacious executive room fit three adults with extra beds. The buffet breakfast was okay. Comfortable for a family stay, would recommend.
