The main problem was constant voltage fluctuation. The management didn’t run the generator (genset) properly, so the fans barely worked, at what felt like 10% speed, and the air conditioning didn’t work at all in the peak summer heat. The lift was out of order, Wi-Fi was completely down, and comfort was badly affected. A functioning genset could have prevented these issues. For what they charge, basic comfort should be guaranteed, but that wasn’t my experience. This level of neglect for guest comfort is unacceptable. Until the problems are fixed, I’d advise others to look elsewhere. Strongly recommend not booking this resort during summer. The stay was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price.

The breakfast was the letdown. They served packed food from a central kitchen instead of fresh dishes. The dosa and pongal were completely dried out, and the kesari portion was tiny, around 5-10 grams. That poor breakfast experience is why I’m taking off two stars. The rooms were spacious and had a balcony, and the toilet was neat and well maintained. The swimming pool was clean, and the kids really enjoyed it.

We paid about 7k for two nights in Pondicherry, and to me this was the most overpriced stay we’d ever had. We booked through an app, but when we arrived they claimed they hadn’t received the booking. We waited a long time and were eventually given the hotel’s worst room, even though we’d chosen a balcony room. We ordered through Swiggy since the place only offered breakfast, and even the delivery guy seemed unsure there was a room on such a shabby floor. Staff said they’d move us the next day, but didn’t. They kept replying, “we will check and confirm,” instead of sorting things out, even a small request like coffee at breakfast. One bed had no blanket. Breakfast, which I’d seen praised in reviews, was served cold. The only good thing was the swimming pool, but it still wasn’t worth the price. For a hotel charging 7k, I expected at least room service food or basics like shampoo, soap, and tea or coffee bags. There was none of that. After we complained about the room and other issues, they gave us small bars of soap as if that would make up for the inconvenience. I have no idea what they do with the money. The hotel had such hype, yet even basic utilities were missing. Please don’t waste your money here.

The location was disappointing too, in the middle of nowhere with no signal, and the pool, though quite spacious, wasn’t maintained well. My eyes started burning while swimming. Breakfast was practically inedible: served at 10, and one day they didn’t provide any. They served one hard idli, one masala dosa with a spoonful of masala in a very dry dosa, a scoop of cold pongal, sambhar and chutney that were okay, and a tiny triangular kesari. We stayed two days, but the rooms weren’t cleaned and towels weren’t replaced after a day. When we asked, staff said we had to tell them to clean. They didn’t provide toiletries either. After we asked, they gave us a few bars of hamam soap and two packets of clinic plus shampoo, so we had to buy toothpaste and toothbrushes ourselves. The sheets were stained, the geyser didn’t work, and there were ants in the room. Power cuts were frequent and the Wi-Fi barely worked. Even the cups in the room weren’t properly washed. This was THE worst experience. There was actually no service. Overall, a complete waste of money. If you read this, please do not come here.
