OYO Townhouse 128 Imperial Stay

I only stayed two days because I had no other option, and it took half an hour to settle on a room. It was dirty and smelled strongly of wet wood. The washroom was grimy, almost like a public toilet, and the toilet seat and basin were dirty, with no mirror. Some rooms had broken AC. Bedsheets and cushions were stained, the wardrobe door was broken and had no lock, and the curtains had come apart. There was no Wi-Fi or breakfast, and the TV was just for show. Though I'd prepaid for two days, after one day the cleaning lady knocked and asked me to check out. I had to go to reception and explain I'd paid for both days, and he said he'd check. No cleaning or trash pickup happened during the two days. The room gave me a negative feeling, so I moved to another hotel.

The bathroom was filthy, with stagnant water and a toilet that moved when touched with a fingertip. There were mosquitoes everywhere and a horrible smell. The place was completely unhygienic, and the staff and manager were careless and unresponsive. Worst hotel ever, do NOT stay here!

My three-day stay was a bad experience. The room was dusty, there was no cleaning or housekeeping, and the hotel was awful. Don't waste your money here.

I wish I’d read the one-star reviews before booking Super Townhouse Puducherry. The room was tiny and dirty, with cockroaches, and room service was pathetic. The location was poor too. Lisa, acting as an agent on AirBnb, told us to speak with a man at reception to sort things out, but that didn’t help. I’d look for somewhere near White Town, or better yet, in Auroville.
