The Promenade Pondicherry

The food is on the expensive side, but it’s very good, and the morning buffet has plenty of variety and tastes good too. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, with top-notch service. Housekeeping did a great job during our three-night stay, cleaning everything thoroughly and making the room feel new again. The location is right across from lively Promenade beach and the Gandhi statue. Our room was extremely clean and well maintained, with a standing balcony that had a great view and let in plenty of air. The hotel looks fantastic, is great for families, and offers valet parking. We had a wonderful stay.

The live seafood display and having the fish marinated to our preference were standouts. As seafood lovers, we’ve never tasted fish prepared so perfectly, in such an authentic style. The food was top class, the beachside seating was perfect, and the service made the evening unforgettable. Dear Kaamini, you and your team gave us amazing service. Thanks for the lovely suggestions too. You handle guests so well, you’re a real face of the promenade. We were very happy with our visit. The experience felt even beyond a five-star property.

Parking for guest vehicles needs better organization, which was a problem during our visit. Apart from that, we had a fantastic three-night family stay at The Promenade, Pondicherry, and the whole team helped make it memorable. The pool is small, but nice for relaxing in the evening. The Café and restaurant had delicious, healthy choices, and breakfast was a hit. Our spacious, well-appointed room had stunning beach views, and waking to the waves was pure bliss. The staff were remarkably polite and attentive, and made us feel right at home. The stay was unforgettable and well worth it.

I stopped by the Blue Line restaurant and Iasmin served us with a lovely smile. She made the cocktail just the way we wanted, and it was perfect. The food was excellent too. I’ll try the Pizza next time. Iasmin Dilip Kapoor is a great member of staff, she’ll go far.
