Adhvasaha Beach Spa Resort

The room’s sunrise view over the sea was amazing, and you can hear the waves all the time since the resort sits right beside the water. It made for a peaceful, memorable stay. Our room was comfortable and nicely laid out, with separate areas for the toilet, bathroom, and dressing.

The food could be better, though the staff were good and the rooms were clean. The setting is like paradise, with a lovely sea view at sunrise. Sitting there with the rising sun warming your face and your eyes closed felt wonderful, and it’s an ideal time and place for yoga or meditation. I’d love to come back.

The property was beautifully kept, and everything looked impressively clean. I also loved the peaceful location, with nearby attractions easy to reach. Staff were warm and helpful, and service was quick and attentive. The resort made for a relaxing getaway and surpassed what I expected. I’d happily recommend it.

The restaurant staff were especially friendly, and dinner was excellent, with a good selection. The room was spacious, had plenty of storage and a fridge, and the bed was very comfortable. I also liked the pool, the tropical garden between the many bungalows, and the quiet seaside setting. The Wi-Fi kept having problems at first. On the morning of day four, I was moved to another room where it finally worked. Breakfast leaned heavily toward Indian food, with little continental choice, and the shower pressure was weak. The resort needs more care and maintenance. During my week there, nobody asked whether I wanted room service; toiletries weren’t replenished and the bin wasn’t emptied. I didn’t need constant towel changes, but there was only one bath towel and no regular towel. Some pool loungers were also in poor condition. I’m not willing to excuse the upkeep by saying that’s typical of India, especially when the price was a third higher than comparable accommodation in other states I’d already planned to visit. The Andamans may generally cost more, but at that price I’d expect everything to be in good condition and well maintained.
