The lunch and dinner we ordered tasted genuinely good. The hotel was still a major disappointment, though, especially at ₹4,500 per night. The rooms were damp and foul-smelling from drainage problems, infested with bugs, and had fittings that were broken or falling apart. The property was in very poor condition, with almost no maintenance and severe understaffing. They demanded full payment upfront even though we were staying two nights. On Saturday morning there was no proper buffet. One staff member was trying to serve everyone, and after waiting 30 minutes, most guests gave up because there wasn’t enough available. They couldn’t even serve tea because, reportedly, there was no milk. For the state of the rooms and the facilities, the price is far too high. I’d say it should be closer to ₹1,500 a night. Until the hotel makes serious improvements to maintenance and staffing, it’s best avoided. Photographs are attached for reference.

The beach is nearby, so this is a convenient spot for a relaxing getaway. Icon Heritage Hotel has lovely heritage architecture and a swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was exceptional. I had an outstanding stay and would recommend it for anyone looking to combine comfort with a heritage atmosphere.

I decided against booking after seeing the place because it was far too expensive for the quality. The room was spacious, but dusty and dirty, with spider webs everywhere, and the bathroom felt old and damp. The hotel has no lift, so older guests might struggle with the stairs. As for the location, the road to the hotel is a hell hole. If you’re with family and have some standards, walking there in the dark feels frightening, like you could be kidnapped or molested. It’s substandard and overpriced.

The food was good, but it took far too long to arrive. The property is badly maintained, and service was very slow. Staff seemed indifferent to what we needed, and we had to call them at least twice to get anything done. I had a pathetic experience and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The food was just awesome, and the staff were helpful. It’s a great place for a peaceful weekend with family or friends, with excellent rooms and clean bathrooms.
