We first stayed at Prayag with five people, paying 3k, then moved to Suncity for 2k. Suncity’s room was much cleaner, and its lift seemed nicer too. Prayag’s lift looked like a doorless ghost lift, with only pulling channels, which could be dangerous for kids. Suncity looks much smaller than Prayag, but I liked it better, and the price was affordable.

Our train ended up arriving five hours late, even though I’d booked the room for just three hours. The staff let us stay from the time we arrived, and they were polite, cooperative, and supportive. The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic. Very good hotel.

Food is available here and it was good. The place is on the way to Sangam, and you can take an e-rickshaw there for Rs 30 per person.

The manager’s rude, unprofessional way of speaking made this a disappointing stay. He didn’t seem to know how to communicate with customers. The rooms and the food were both average. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want to avoid a bad experience.

Being centrally located makes it easy to get to places like Civil Lines and the airport. A good choice if you’re staying for a few days.
