OYO 12180 Surya Prayagam

We paid 25k for two nights, and this place wasn’t worth even 1500/-. The rooms looked unfinished, and everything seemed used: towels, pillows, floors and toilets. The shower bucket was a paint bucket. The service was horrible, and the staff had a disgusting attitude. When we complained, they just told us we’d booked through Make my trip and should talk to them. I can’t believe the good reviews, they must have been paid for. Don’t book until you’ve seen the room condition in person. Minus marks, -1 review.

The bathroom drain was blocked and the room was dirty. The AC we had booked and paid for did not work at all, and nobody came despite our calling room service three times. We felt the stay wasn't worth what we paid. I hope management takes these problems seriously and improves the service.

The hotel's location was good, and the room was reasonably spacious. Parking was okay, and we had hot water without any trouble. But the room hadn't been cleaned properly, and there were used condoms in the bin. The bathroom wasn't very good either, and the pillows and blankets smelled bad. After we reported it, the owner tried to do something about it. We only stayed one night, and wouldn't suggest this place for a decent family stay. It gave the impression that the hotel may be used for other purposes.

Look at the attached photos before booking. They charged Rs.1200 for a room that, to me, wasn't worth 100rps, with no useful services. The TV was there but didn't work, and the AC was dirty and out of order. Yellow water came from the tap for bathing, the toilet seat was broken, and there wasn't even a geyser in the bathroom in winter. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
