The location is good, but the service had no professionalism or cleanliness. Rooms were poorly maintained and not properly cleaned, and towels didn’t seem to have been washed hygienically. We couldn’t get proper drinking water, and when we asked, the caretaker casually told us to drink the same water he uses from the pipe. He was rude when we raised legitimate concerns and showed little sense of responsibility. Even when we asked for Goodnight mosquito repellent, the suggestion was simply to “just close the windows.” I wouldn’t recommend staying unless the maintenance and staff behaviour improve.

We paid the full amount in advance through the Goibibo app for Resort Super Collection O Chalakudy River, Annamanada, Thrissur. After traveling 40-45 km, we arrived late at night and were told by the resort staff that they had no relationship with OYO and our booking wasn’t valid. The number listed in the booking details was not much help. They said they’d arrange another room or move us elsewhere, but kept sending the same resort details we’d already booked. This was extremely disappointing. I used to trust Goibibo, but after this it felt misleading and untrustworthy. There’s no way to contact the Goibibo team to report the problem. Please contact us and provide proper information about this matter. We’re requesting a full refund.

The riverside location is nice, and that’s about the only good thing. It could have been a decent property if the caretaker did his job. The rooms were untidy, with dusty rooms, dirty bedsheets and towels, no drinking water, and no toiletries. The caretaker was appallingly unresponsive.

The caretaker was really kind and friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean with a great view. A truly relaxing, wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
