Hotel Utsav Deluxe

The location is the main positive, and the managers responded quickly when I complained. The hotel is safe and average, so don’t expect anything luxurious despite the 3-star claim online. The rooms are small, and online bookings seem to get a standard small room. The underground parking only fits a few cars, while outside there’s just a narrow road that gets jammed, with nowhere for a car to stop. The U-turn to reach the hotel is far, so Ola, Uber, and tempos may drop you about 100 meters away near city pride. Flower sellers crowd the entrance in the morning, making it hard even to get straight out to the road. Service is poor: no one collects utensils after room service, cleaning happens only once, and there’s no quick response when you need something. The waiters act as if they’re above the law and asked why I was ordering again when I wanted extra roti or nan. There’s only one lift, often occupied by staff going between -1 and 5. Breakfast is ordinary and limited to a few choices, such as one or two fruits, poha, idli sambhar, dosa, and tea. The food menu is limited and vegetarian only, though the Indian and Continental dishes taste good. There’s no travel desk, and the room rates are a little high. It seems to run on parents visiting students admitted to Bharti vidhyapeeth medical and other facilities. The web listing is overhyped. The good location is the one real plus.

Ms Happy made our dining experience lovely. She was polite, attentive, and always had a warm smile. She made sure we were comfortable, took care of every detail, and went out of her way to help. The team at utsav helped make my daughter’s engagement a memorable day. The hall was good, everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was very good.

The location is ideal, with major landmarks only a few minutes away. The rooms are good, while the food is okay and service a bit slow. Nothing to worry about, though. I’d definitely return.
