Capital O 15501 Hotel Regency

The rooms were small, though fairly clean and maintained, and when our bedside outlet didn't work they gave us an extension box. The restaurant looks nice, but nobody seemed to manage it properly. Tables weren't cleaned and there was no salt, pepper or tissues. When we asked, we were told, "it is a buffet." Food orders took ages, and calls often went unanswered, so ordering early is a good idea. At 4 AM I was told to get cash to pay the room service bill because they wouldn't accept a card. The staff were very uncooperative. This is nowhere near a 3 star hotel.

I stayed at Treebo Regency from 19th March to 21st March. The room and bathroom were clean, the staff were courteous, and breakfast tasted good with a decent spread. For a business trip, that covers the basics pretty well. The property itself looks shabby and neglected, though. A tidy, bright place would make a much better first impression, and this hotel lacks the polish some competitors have. Breakfast runs from 8am to 10am, which doesn't work for many business travelers who start early. They give one bottle of water on arrival, then charge for drinking water on later days, and there are very few toiletries. I'd give Treebo Regency 2.5 out of 5. I'm unsure whether I'd book again. They have a lot to improve.

Room service is good, but breakfast is the weak point: there's no variety and the same things are served every day. It's a budget hotel, so don't count on slippers or a shaving kit, even if you ask. You won't get them.

The receptionist and manager were helpful, and the rooms were a solid 10/10 for cleanliness, especially by Indian standards. For what they provided, the price felt well worth it. They could probably charge a little more.
