I had a confirmed booking through Oyo, but the hotel still denied me entry. At 11pm on 21st dec 2024, Oyo customer care couldn't reach the owner because it was late, and told me to get a refund and book somewhere else. The manager asked for 500₹ extra in cash as a bribe, and seemed drunk. He suggested that would sort out the problem. I was travelling with my wife and our 18-month-old son. Neither side apologized. The worst experience ever.

There’s no food at the property, and I couldn’t find any restaurants nearby. It’s inside a housing society, which made the location feel strange. I booked through Oyo and, despite getting a low rate, felt the stay wasn’t worth it. They may simply refuse check-in when you book through a platform, leaving you to contact the provider. I wouldn’t bring family here, even for Rs 800.

Oyo had confirmed my booking, but the property still refused to let me in. I tried calling Oyo customer care and couldn’t get a solution from them.

The bathroom smelled awful, and the bed and sheets were very dirty. It seemed like they didn’t change the sheets after guests checked out. On top of that, the fan blades were broken and the hotel charged me an extra Rs.1400 on my Oyo booking. This was the worst experience I’ve had. Why is Oyo still supporting this place?
