I made a genuine cancellation before check-in, but they still kept my money. Their explanation was that it's the property's policy, which is ridiculous. Do hotels really have a policy that lets them hold on to a customer's money after a genuine cancellation? Don't book here if you may need to cancel, because they don't refund the amount once you've made the booking.

We had a corporate tie-up, and I followed the process by sending an email to book a room. When my guest arrived at night, the staff said there was no room, and they hadn't confirmed anything by email either. This was ridiculous. The staff's behaviour and management were third class and shameless. With no other hotels in the area, they seem to take advantage of that. Avoid booking here. I strongly oppose this hotel from now on.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was wonderful. Nikhil was the star for me, taking very good care of everything on the menu. I enjoyed my time at Viva Inn and will come back.

This place feels overpriced by local standards. I asked for an ironing machine and board, and the pictures show what I got. The first machine was dirty, so I returned it and had it replaced twice with what they called clean ones. Even after wiping the machine myself with their towels, I couldn't save my brand new shirt, which got spoiled. The housekeeping and management standards are poor. Keep clear of this hotel.
